Chapter 35: No Bad Teams
There are no bad teams, only bad leaders. And if you’ve ever had some underperforming teams that you lead, you first need to look inward.
That’s a tough pill to swallow if you’re that leader. You’ve underperformed. You haven’t given your team the belief that they can win or do the thing you’re set out to do. You need to be better.
It’s hard to look within and harder to make adjustments. None of us like to hear that we’re not succeeding, but how can you course correct?
What can you do better?
How can you empower and inspire?
Do you need to believe that the team can do it?
These are questions we all need to ask from time to time.
